To put it simply, it is a gradual increase in temperature in the Earth’s surface, and atmosphere. This increase is attributed to an abundance of carbon dioxide in the air – which acts as a blanket, trapping heat and as a result warming the planet.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the warm weather we’ve been having lately, but I also enjoy all the other 3 seasons.
I personally find National Geographic to be one of the best resources in understanding more about our planet, and recently, Fisher Steven’s new documentary “Before the Flood”, which was produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, evaluates the environmental conundrum that we are in.
